"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Acts 3:28-29
2. Healing: "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also make alive your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you." Romans 8:11
3. Deliverance: "Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." 1John 4:4
4. Fellowship: "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, [5] Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Ephes. 2:4-6
Jesus died that we might have: eternal life (through redemption), healing for our bodies, and prosperity to do the work we are assigned. The Apostle James writes:
"But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." – James 1:4
· Perfect is to be complete, mature, and righteous, which happens when we are redeemed.
· Entire is to be sound of body, because Jesus was beaten for our healing. “The chastisement of our peace was upon him.” (Isaiah 53:5)
· Lacking nothing is to be without want for anything. Philippians 4:11; Psalm 23:1
