Seven Steps to Hell
1. Detachment from the reality of God's love. 5. Deficient judgment.
2. Debasement of holy things. 6. Denial of
what is true.
3. Deception for self justification. 7. Defiance of
God.
4. Disnnulment of commitments.

These seven steps apply to personal, individual lives, and nations.
(Note: the eclipse is used because sin blinds us and casts a dark shadow upon the truth.) "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." (Romans 1:22) For, "The fool has said in his heart there is no God." (Psalm 14:1)
Apply these same steps to a marriage and discover the development of divorce.
(Remember, marriage is a covenant between a man, a woman, and God.)
1. Detachment from the reality of love, which is responsibility and sacrifice.
2. Devaluing the relationship.
3. Justifying self-gratification or selfishness.
4. Devaluing marriage vows.
5. Poor judgment in dealing with relationships domestic and extra marital.
6. Denial of the truth about individual sin.
7. Defilement of the marriage covenant
Observation:
- There are three types of people:
- Warriors: people who are involved in the enforcement of righteousness and the preservation of people (military, police, medical, fire) - Romans 13:1-4
- Communications (telecom, broadcasting, engineers, scientists, inventors, all have a message.)
- Culturists who fashion the culture, in which we live. (musicians, artisans, authors, politicians, legislators)
This follows the three fold pattern of creation that was instituded in all things by the Creator. Our own fashion is of spirit, soul, and body. War is developed in the spirit. Peace is a state of the mind. Praise is a state of existance that is expressed through our actions (praising self, others, or God).
The spirit: the will, to fight for survival, is in the heart of every creature;
The soul of each one of us has the ability and desire to communicate;
The body bears the expression of who we are and what we think by our: apperal, body language,
tatoos, jewlry, and etc.
Nations have a spirtul component, a developmental component, and a cultural component that shapes the character of the nation's identity.
Tit 1:12 "One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies."
The judment of nations seem to run in 300 year cycles:
One hundred years of war, fought on American soil, that births the nation.
1776 - American revolution
1785 - Indian wars
1812 - Second Revolutionary war with Britan
1846 - Mexican war
1858 - Indian wars
1861 - Civil war
1863 - Western indian wars
One hundred years of development: mechanical, communications, exploration, sciences, economic, etc.
1780 - Industrial revolution/ mechanical
1940 - Scientific revolution/atomic age
1960 - Technological revolution/space age
1980 - Individual revolution/ computer age
Ond hundred years of culture
1970 - Cultural revolution/ coming out of the closet: abortion, homosexuality, cultism,
2000 -
These all over lap. One does not stop and another begin, just as the human is not three separate enitities; but, rather, three entities composed into one finite being. However, the predominance of one creates the environment for the development of the others. Before we were given a body we were formed a spirit (Psalm 139:15). In the course of developing the body (Psalm 139:13-14), we were given a mind. And when were were born we came forth with all three in tact. So, it is with nation building. Our legacy will be defined by our culture, as well as, our achievements.
So, apply the afore mentioned seven steps to the demise of the United States of America:
(Note: During these times revivals break out in the church in various places, but not in the general U.S. population.)
1. 1960's - Detachment from the reality of God in America.
> God is expelled from public schools. (1963 Murry vs. Curlett- U.S. Supreme Court)
> Vietnam war - a quagmire of injustices.
2. 1970's - Desecration of sacred things.
> Abortion is legalized. (1973 Roe vs. Wade - U.S. Supreme Court)
> God is expelled from medicine as cell research expands knowledge. (DNA/cloning/stem cell research)
3. 1980's - Deception of self. (calling good things bad; and bad things good)
> AIDS/sexual confusion. (1981 introduced among homosexual men) The only disease with political advocates. Instead of quarenten, it is released into the general population, with the prohibition of being identified with the carrier. From this insanity came the medical privacy laws known as HIPPA.
> Satanism begins a steady rise in America. (Search Satanism history in America)
> God is expelled from the judiciary. (Separation of church and state.)
> Iranian terrorism holds U.S. embassy hostages.
> Terrorism on the rise world wide.
4. 1990's - Disnnulment of commitments and covenants.
> Divorce over 50%. (No difference between the culture and the Church.)
> Gulf War
5. 2000's - Deficient Judgment
> God is expelled from government and economy.
> Attempts to expel God from the U.S. pledge of allegiance.
> Expelled from government buildings.
> Expelled from historical documents; pledge of allegence.
> Attempted expulsion from U.S. coins.
> Officials in chaos and scandal.
> Iraq and Afghanistan war.
6. 2010's - Departure from and denial of simple truths.
> The death of national sovereignty. The developement of a "new world order": economic and ecomunical.
> Iranian war?
7. 2020's - Defiance against God.
> God is locked out of the United States of America.
> Unification of Ecumenical world religions.
> Unification of the western world.
> Unification of the World economy.
> Anti-Christ.
"The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." - Ecc. 1:9
This study is from the book of Malachi and the demise of the Jewish nation:
1. Malachi 1:1-2 - God's people do not believe that He loves them.
2. Malachi 1:6 - God's people have no honor.
3. Malachi 1:14 - God's people deceive themselves.
4. Malachi 2:13-16 - God's people are covenant breakers.
5. Malachi 2:17 - God's people weary him with perverse judgment.
6. Malachi 3:7-9 - God's people have departed from Him, as evidenced in their giving.
7. Malachi 3:13-15 - God's people speak perversely against him.
